We began in 1937 with a single foundry in Rothbury, Michigan, which remains our flagship counterweight operation. The business has flourished because we are constantly expanding our capabilities to meet customer needs. Kurdziel now has foundries and finishing plants throughout the U.S. and China. Though we are still best-known as the world's leading manufacturer of large counterweights, we also supply commercial gray and ductile iron castings, Disamatic gray iron castings and steel products for a variety of industries and applications -- worldwide.
